First rule... NO HOUSE RAKE...
Whatsoever. The club is not in
this to make money. We are just a
bunch of locals who like to play cards.
Typically, we play one big tournament
per quarter, with a little higher buy-in
than our Friday-night games. These are
usually 8-20 people, with 30-50 dollar
buy-ins, and huge pot payouts.
We also try to play cash games or
tournament style games every month if
possible. (Blinds for cash games are
$.25/ $.50.)
That's the sole reason we have a
membership section. If we want to get a
game going, there's a contact list with
plenty of people to call to ensure we
get action. Most of the time there's
already one scheduled for that month
though.
BE POLITE!! If you are not, you will be
cashed out and asked to leave the game. I
will not stand for mockery or unprofessional
play at my table. If you can't handle the
rules, don't come... I will not stand for the
BS. And that's the bottom line.
