Operation Iraqi Freedom  Photography Page

Iraq - Operation Iraqi Freedom

This is a photo page from my experiences in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom during the year of 2005-2006.  These pictures represent the moments from when I first started this journey in Southern California to my IO school in Kansas to my deployment location in Texas to the Middle East deployment and beyond.  This page will be updated as often as I can.

I have taken many photos during my career in the military from deployments to home station training and operations.  You can view those pictures here.

While stationed in Germany, I was deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina as part of SFOR1. This 8 months deployment to the Balkans opened my eyes to a new culture I never knew existed. This also was my first taste of what the remnants of war looked like.

While in Iraq, I am attempting to get as many portraits of the common soldier as I can.

Of course all deployments have a starting and an end point. My start point started at Fort Bliss, Texas and took me through Germany and Kuwait.  Those pictures are here.

Throughout my travels and work in Iraq, I have been to Abu Ghraib Prison several times.  Here are those photos.

This page has photos from life around Camp Victory, Iraq.  These are just random shots taken from the camp I live.

This page is dedicated to the Iraqi girls school we visited to distribute school supplies and stuffed animals.  It was also one of my best days in Iraq.  It was so fulfilling to see the smiling faces of the children when we arrived with our supplies for them.
